Three people were killed after a BEST bus rammed some cars in Mumbai
Mumbai, December 9: A tragic accident on a busy road in Mumbai’s Kurla (West) has claimed three lives and left 17 injured. A state-run BEST bus, route number 332, traveling from Kurla station to Andheri lost its brakes and collided with several vehicles and pedestrians.
The incident occurred around 9:50 pm on Monday. The bus subsequently crashed into the gates of a residential complex, further escalating the chaos.
According to a municipal corporation official speaking to news agency PTI, the accident appears to have been caused by brake failure.
Injured Patients Taken to Hospitals
The injured individuals have been rushed to Sion and Kurla Bhabha Hospitals for immediate medical attention.
The BEST, responsible for providing extensive transport services across Mumbai and its surrounding areas, is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
