A police operation against drug trafficking, linked to maritime transport, has concluded in the Espíritu Santo industrial estate, in the A Coruña municipality of Cambre.
The agents accessed an industrial warehouse, belonging to a frozen fish company, and seized 7.2 tons of cocaine, in the largest operation of the year in Galicia.
Along with the drugs, the National Police and the Tax Agency arrested 4 people for their relationship with these events, although The operation remains open.
According to the latest crime report from the Ministry of the Interior, the State security forces and bodies have increased their effectiveness against drug trafficking in the province of A Coruña by 8.3% until September.
