It’s the final full week of March and the month is far from finished in providing fresh horrors. Nine brand new horror movies were released on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
Past Life – A Psychological Thriller
Past Life, a psychological thriller, was released on Digital outlets via Miracle Media and Trinity Content Partners. The film follows Jason Frey, a skeptical journalist haunted by trauma, who experiences a violent murder through hypnosis. As he investigates, he uncovers links to an unsolved crime from before his birth, forcing him to question whether past lives are memory or menace. The film stars Aneurin Barnard, Pixie Lott, Nicholas Farrell, Tim McInnerny, and Jeremy Piven. Directed by Simeon Halligan, who co-wrote the script with Ray Bogdanovich and Dean Lines, the filmmaking trio previously collaborated on the horror movie The Banishing. Watch the trailer here.
Mimics – A Blend of Horror, Fun, and Romance
Kristoffer Polaha’s directorial debut, Mimics, is now available at home. The film centers on Sam Reinhold, an impressionist who makes a pact with a sinister puppet, leading to a nightmare that threatens those he loves. Starring Nashville-based Latina Country singer Mōriah, Chris Parnell, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Polaha himself, Mimics was filmed in Reno, Nevada.
Send Help – Sam Raimi’s Comedic Survival Thriller
Sam Raimi’s Send Help, starring Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien, is now available on Digital via 20th Century Studios. The film follows two colleagues stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash, battling past grievances and a darkly humorous struggle for survival. The Deep Dark, a French creature feature, was released on VOD. Set in 1950s France, the film follows a team of miners who awaken a bloodthirsty creature even as researching a crypt. The Daemon – Lovecraftian Cosmic Horror

The film tells the story of a grieving teenager possessed by a dark force, and her mother’s desperate search for a cure. Starring Tyler Q. Redux Redux – A Multiverse Revenge Thriller
Redux Redux, a sci-fi revenge thriller, is available on Digital from Lionsgate. The film follows Irene Kelly as she travels through parallel universes to avenge her daughter’s death. Supernatural horror film The Containment was released on VOD from Level 33 Entertainment. The film centers on a teenage girl possessed by a dark force and her mother’s search for help. Resurrection – A Chinese Sci-Fi Epic
The genre-bending Chinese sci-fi epic Resurrection is now available on all major VOD outlets and streaming exclusively on the Criterion Channel. Directed by Bi Gan, the film explores a world where humans have forsaken dreams in exchange for immortality. Starring Jackson Yee and Shu Qi, Resurrection is described as a “work of breathtaking imagination.”
