The 2 Johnnies Return to RTÉ2 With Jennifer Zamparelli and Keith Barry
The fourth season of The 2 Johnnies Late Night Lock In returns to RTÉ2 and the RTÉ Player with a lineup featuring television presenter Jennifer Zamparelli and mentalist Keith Barry, europesays.com reported. The opening episode brings back hosts Johnny B and Johnny Smacks for another run of comedy, live music, and late-night conversation.
Johnny Smacks outlined the ambition for the new season, stating, This season we’ve gone bigger again. We’ve got some unreal guests coming through the doors, great live music, and a few surprises that I’m fairly sure RTÉ haven’t fully thought through yet.
Johnny B added that the production aims to recreate the atmosphere of an Irish pub on a Thursday night where visitors end up staying for an unexpected extra round.
Guests across the early episodes of the season include former 2fm and Dancing With The Stars presenter Jennifer Zamparelli, who discusses her television career, her hidden-camera work on The Fear, and married life with her husband Lau, according to europesays.com. Comedian Jarlath Regan also joins the program to share his experiences as an Irishman abroad.
rte.ie reported that mentalist Keith Barry appears on the series to discuss hypnotising his sisters during his youth and meeting musician Bryan Adams, alongside performing a trick on Johnny Smacks. Former Munster and Ireland rugby player Donncha O’Callaghan features on the program to discuss his early days in professional rugby, the inaugural Ireland versus England match at Croke Park, and his pre-match routines.
