Former snooker world champion neil Robertson has been forced to pull out of the Northern Ireland Open.

The Australian has been unwell following his participation in the Xi’an Grand Prix.

Snooker champion Neil Robertson has revealed he is recovering from a recent health issue, forcing him to withdraw from the upcoming Northern Ireland Open.

The Australian shared the news with his social media followers, expressing his disappointment at missing the tournament. “I’m on the mend now but still quite a way to go, and for this reason I had no choice but to withdraw from Northern Ireland,” he wrote. “It’s the onyl home nation event I haven’t won so it was high on my agenda this season. It’s a shame to miss it but sadly had no choice.”

Robertson, the 2010 world champion, is a prominent figure in the world of snooker and is keen to return to competitive play as soon as possible.He is expected to make a swift recovery and resume his season in the coming weeks.
