Background of Àngels Chacón

Chacón brings a diverse background to her new role. Prior to joining LLYC, she served as the Minister of Business and Knowledge in the Quim Torra government (2018-2020) and previously as the General Director of Industry in 2017. Her experience also includes a background in the private sector, notably as a director at Manipulated del Noya . She was also a candidate in the 2021 regional elections, leading the PDeCat list. Chacón holds a law degree and joined LLYC after a period in public service .

María Cura has been a key figure at LLYC as joining the firm in 2009. As a partner, she has served as the General Director of the Barcelona office for fifteen years, contributing to its growth into one of LLYC’s three largest global offices.
