Interior Ministry footage of the three men who died in the hut.

The man who reported the bodies found in the Petrohan hut introduced himself as their “relative” and was part of the non-governmental organization, bTV claims.

He was from the Sofia village of Gintsi, on whose territory the hut is also located. According to the mayor of the settlement, he was registered there at his current address.

However, local residents claim that they do not know him. The people who have seen him are few, and off-camera they have said that he moved in relatively recently and rarely appeared.

According to them, the man lived in a house in Gintsi together with a woman of Mexican origin, which is why he was known by the nickname “The Mexican”. The woman is not registered with the town hall as a resident.

For several days, there was no one in the home they lived in, and according to the locals, he had moved out.

Meanwhile, the area around the former lodge remains under heavy security. Today, a forensic laboratory bus drove up to the site again, and around noon, an off-road police car got off, picked up two civilians – apparently workers, and returned with them to the burned building.
