The IInspiration Officially All Elite with AEW
Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay, known collectively as The IInspiration, have officially signed multi-year contracts with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), marking a new chapter for the former WWE and TNA stars. Their debut took place at AEW’s “House Rules” event in Brisbane, Australia, on February 15, 2026, where they announced they are “All Elite.”
From TNA to AEW: A Swift Transition
The move to AEW comes shortly after The IInspiration’s run with TNA Wrestling concluded. Their final appearance for TNA was on the premiere episode of Impact on AMC, where they lost the Knockouts Tag Team Championships to The Elegance Brand on January 15, 2026 [WrestlingInc]. Sources indicate their departure from TNA was amicable [WrestlingInc].
Previous Successes and WWE Release
Prior to joining AEW, Lee and McKay enjoyed success in both WWE, and TNA. After their release from WWE in 2021, they rebuilt their momentum in TNA, becoming two-time Knockouts Tag Team Champions [WrestlingInc]. They briefly stepped away from the ring before returning to TNA at Against All Odds last year.
Expanding AEW’s Women’s Division
The arrival of The IInspiration adds depth to AEW’s growing women’s division. AEW recently confirmed the signing of Lena Kross during AEW Grand Slam Australia, who aligned herself with Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford [SI.com].
Initial AEW Appearance and Mission
At their debut in Brisbane, The IInspiration faced Frankie B and Aysha, announcing their mission to find and defeat the best women’s tag teams in the world [SI.com]. They emphatically declared, “This is Cassie, and this is Jessie, and we are officially All Elite!” [SI.com].
WWE Interest and Finalization of AEW Deal
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the deal with AEW had been in the works for approximately one month and was essentially finalized after The IInspiration’s TNA contracts expired shortly after Bound For Glory in October 2025 [WrestlingInc]. WWE sources indicated that if Lee and McKay were not involved in plans for the Royal Rumble on January 31, they would likely sign with AEW, which ultimately proved to be the case [WrestlingInc].
