Trimmo’s “Knightmare” Receives Limited Cassette Release via 7th Heaven

San Francisco-based musician Sean McFarlane, known for his work under the moniker Trimmo, saw his 2020 album “Knightmare” released on cassette format by the label 7th Heaven on July 15, 2022.

About “Knightmare”

The cassette release, catalog number 7H002, is limited to 50 copies. It includes two bonus tracks exclusive to the tape format.

Limited Edition Details

7th Heaven offered a special incentive for early purchasers: one randomly selected buyer who ordered within 72 hours of the release date received a 1/1 alternate signed copy of the cassette. The cassette itself is hand-numbered and stamped in green.

Trimmo and the “Gothstep” Sound

McFarlane describes his music as “gothstep,” a genre blending elements of goth and step music. His album “twin sister” has been noted for its collage-like production and unconventional track naming.
