Swan Song: A Calming Puzzle Game Set to Release on Steam and Nintendo Switch

Belgian indie developer Business Goose Studios is preparing to release its atmospheric puzzle game, Swan Song, on Steam in Q2 2026, with a Nintendo Switch version also in development. A freshly updated demo is currently available as part of Steam Next Fest, offering players a first look at the game’s emotional narrative and unique musical puzzle mechanics.

What is Swan Song?

Swan Song is a calming puzzle game set within a mysterious music box. Players compose melodies by placing notes on a musical scale, activating platforms and opening paths to guide a little swan safely back to its nest. The game blends clever puzzle design with a touching story exploring themes of family, loss, and acceptance.

About Business Goose Studios

Business Goose Studios, based in Hasselt, Belgium, was founded in 2021 by Sander Ambroos, Beau Vankemenade, and Jonathan Wolfs. The studio is known for creating accessible, atmospheric puzzle and adventure games with emotional depth. Their debut title, Sizeable (2021), won Debut Game of the Year at the Belgian Game Awards. They have also worked on projects like 30 Birds (co-produced with Ram Ram Games and published by ARTE France) and the family board game Dino Dino (published by Bannan Games).
