Wedding in Prima: Finale Reveals Latest Couple Amidst Relationship Turmoil

The sixteenth edition of Wedding in Prima concluded with a surprising twist. The final episode of the docu-reality series, broadcast on Real Time on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, saw the formation of a new couple, offering a positive outcome for two of the six participants, diverging from the initial expectations of the program’s experts, Nada Loffredi, Andrea Favaretto, and Giulia Davanzante.

The episode also revisited the journeys of the couples several months after their final choices, providing an update on their relationships.

Andrea and Irene: A Post-Experiment Divide

Irene Mele and Andrea Disisto were among the couples featured in the update. Disisto appeared with bleached blond hair, suggesting a personal transformation. Following their final choices, the couple initially attempted to maintain contact, but their efforts were short-lived. Irene reportedly disconnected her phone on a particularly difficult day – the anniversary of her mother’s death – to avoid further upsetting Andrea. This action, however, led to Andrea feeling offended and subsequently blocking her communication channels.

Disisto clarified that he did not intentionally block Irene, stating he simply “never received the answer” and “simply deleted the phone number after about ten days.” Irene countered, expressing that she hadn’t felt genuine interest from Andrea, suggesting his behavior wouldn’t have differed significantly with any other partner.

Favaretto interjected, asserting that Disisto had shown considerable interest and effort. Viewing footage from their wedding day, Irene addressed concerns about repeating patterns of self-sabotage observed in previous relationships. She maintained that her actions weren’t intentional, explaining that on that challenging day, she simply didn’t feel compelled to communicate with her ex-husband. “It wasn’t self-sabotage, evidently with him I thought it wasn’t worth it,” she stated.

Currently, there is no contact between Irene and Andrea, and they remain separated. Irene, however, defended her decision to attempt a connection with Andrea after the experiment, despite not experiencing a deeper emotional bond.
