Giulio Ancora’s ‘Even’ Heads to Los Angeles Italia Film Festival, Nabs David di Donatello Nominations

The psychological drama Even, directed by Giulio Ancora, is gaining international recognition with a selection for competition at the Los Angeles Italia Film Festival, scheduled to run from March 8 to 14. The film similarly figures prominently among the nominees for the 2026 David di Donatello Awards, Italy’s equivalent of the Oscars.

International Acclaim for ‘Even’

Even, produced by Lob&Partners with the support of the Calabria Film Commission, has already garnered five awards at national and international festivals. The Los Angeles Italia Film Festival, held under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Development, and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, has previously hosted acclaimed directors such as Paolo Sorrentino, Matteo Garrone, and Ferzan Ozpetek, as well as actors Franco Nero and Remo Girone. Even is a psychological drama with thriller elements that explores the theme of violence against women.
