Bruno Mars Returns with ‘The Romantic’ – A Deep Dive into His New Album and Tour
Bruno Mars has officially released his highly anticipated fourth solo studio album, The Romantic, marking his first solo LP since 2016’s 24K Magic. The release coincides with a vibrant music video for the track “Risk It All,” directed by Mars himself alongside Daniel Ramos.
A Return to Solo Work
After his successful collaboration with Anderson .Paak as Silk Sonic, culminating in the critically acclaimed album An Evening With Silk Sonic (2021) and multiple Grammy Awards – including Song of the Year and Record of the Year for “Leave the Door Open” in 2022 – Mars returns to his solo artistry with The Romantic. The album features nine tracks, including the lead single “I Just Might,” which previously topped the Billboard Hot 100.
“I Just Might” and Grammy Performance
“I Just Might” continues to resonate with audiences, currently holding strong at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 as of February 27, 2026. Mars also delivered a captivating performance of the song at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards last month, showcasing his signature style and stage presence. He previously won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2022 Grammys for “Die With a Smile,” a collaboration with Lady Gaga.
The Romantic Tour
To support the album, Mars is embarking on The Romantic Tour, set to kick off with two shows in Las Vegas on April 10 and 11. The tour will then traverse North America, with stops in cities including Houston, Atlanta, Nashville, Toronto, Chicago, and Los Angeles, before concluding in Vancouver, B.C., on October 16 and 17. European fans can also anticipate performances in Paris, Berlin, London, Amsterdam, Milan, and Madrid this summer.
Supporting Acts
Mars will be joined on tour by Anderson .Paak, his Silk Sonic partner, as well as RAYE, Victoria Monét, and Leon Thomas, who will provide support on various legs of the tour.
Early Album Access
Fans were given an exclusive preview of The Romantic through a collaboration between Mars, TikTok, and iHeartRadio. The event, titled Romantic Radio with Bruno Mars: An iHeartRadio Album Preview, took place on Thursday, February 26.
