Cal Men’s Tennis Sweeps Boston College and Saint Mary’s

The No. 56 California Golden Bears (11-7) defeated Boston College 7-0 and Saint Mary’s 6-1 at Hellman Tennis Complex on Friday, March 13, 2026.

Match Against Boston College

Cal secured a 1-0 lead against Boston College after winning the doubles matches on courts two and three. Bernardo Munk Mesa and Paris Pouatcha won 6-1 on court three, while Alex Aney and Tiago Silva clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 victory.

In singles play, Tiago Silva secured the Bears’ second point with a 6-3, 6-2 straight-set victory on court three. Paris Pouatcha followed with a straight-set win of his own, 6-4, 6-1, on court five. Lenn Luemkemann clinched the victory for the Bears with a 6-4, 6-1 win on court five.
