Carmel Valley Library to Host Concert Featuring Violinist Harold Reeves and Harpist Justine Tiu
The Friends of the Carmel Valley Library will present an evening of music with Harold Reeves, a violinist and Justine Tiu, a harpist, on Tuesday, March 24, at 6:30 p.m. The one-hour concert is free and open to the public, with donations gratefully accepted to support future cultural events.
About the Musicians
Harold Reeves, a San Diego native, is a founding member of the San Diego Music Group and has performed with members of the Emerson Quartet [San Diego Union-Tribune]. Justine Tiu is a Southern California harpist who has performed across the country, from Seattle to Savannah, and recently served as Visiting Principal Harp of the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra [San Diego Union-Tribune].
The Program
The concert will feature a diverse program encompassing works by Debussy, Bach, Saint-Saëns, Paganini, and Piazzolla, ranging from Baroque elegance to Argentine passion [San Diego Union-Tribune]. Organizers promise a few surprises alongside these well-known pieces.
