Texas Woman’s Gymnastics Concludes Regular Season at Arizona Quad Meet

TUCSON, Ariz. (March 15, 2026) – The Texas Woman’s University (TWU) gymnastics team wrapped up its regular season at a quad meet hosted by the University of Arizona on Friday, March 13, 2026. Competing against Arizona, Ohio State, and Southeast Missouri State, the Pioneers finished third with a team score of 194.325.

Meet Results

Ohio State secured first place with a score of 196.65, followed by Arizona in second place with 196.3. Southeast Missouri State placed fourth, scoring 194.225.

Pioneers’ Performance

TWU achieved a team score of 48.625 on vault, led by Sophia Isbell’s 9.8. Isbell has consistently scored at least 9.8 in every event throughout the season, with only one exception.

The Pioneers tied their best event score of the meet on uneven bars, also earning 48.65. Caroline Bowns led the team with a season-high 9.875, finishing just 0.025 points shy of her career best.

On balance beam, TWU recorded a team total of 48.425, with Ruby Goad leading the way with a 9.825 – only 0.025 points from her career high.

Floor exercise saw another team score of 48.65 for TWU, highlighted by Kyleigh Ghanbari’s 9.9, matching her season high and coming within 0.025 points of her career best.

Looking Ahead
