Seoul, South Korea – March 18, 2026 – Yoon Youngdal, chairman of Crown Haitai Confectionery, has been elected as the third president of the Professional Billiards Association (PBA). The appointment was announced following a board meeting held on March 17th .

Yoon Youngdal, 81, succeeds Kim Young-soo, who served as the PBA’s first and second president for seven years, laying the groundwork for the professionalization of billiards in Korea . President Yoon’s term will extend through March 2029, a period of three years .

The PBA cited Yoon Youngdal’s business acumen and deep understanding of billiards as key factors in his appointment, believing he is well-suited to lead the stable growth and advancement of the sport . He has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to billiards through his founding and operation of the professional billiards team, “Crown Haitai Raon” . Beyond his involvement in sports, Yoon Youngdal has likewise been a prominent supporter of the arts and culture, serving as president of the Korea Mecenat Association .
