Fidelity, set to release on April 17 via Drink Sum Watr, delves into themes of grief and resilience. The album grapples with Bey’s experience of loss following the death of her father, Grand Daddy I.U., a member of the legendary Juice Crew, and addresses the challenges faced by Black communities in New York due to gentrification. Bey previously shared the lead single, “Blue,” last month.
