Natasha Lyonne Shares Positive Update Following Recent Relapse

Natasha Lyonne is expressing gratitude for the support she’s received after publicly disclosing a relapse in her sobriety earlier this year. The Poker Face star shared a message on social media on March 19, 2026, indicating she is “doing a whole lot better and back on her feet.”

“Want to thank our recovery communities & the fans who stood by & were so supportive,” Lyonne wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter). “Aiming to keep the journey somehow private, but look forward to sharing my experience, strength & hope as makes sense.”

A History with Addiction

Lyonne has been open about her struggles with addiction to drugs and alcohol, which spanned much of the 2000s. She initially revealed her relapse in late January following an appearance at the Sundance Film Festival, emphasizing that “Recovery is a lifelong process.”

What’s Next for Lyonne?

Despite the recent setback, Lyonne remains active in several projects. Her show, Poker Face, was canceled by Peacock in November 2025, but she and MRC were reportedly exploring a new iteration of the series starring Peter Dinklage. Variety reports that Lyonne too has multiple feature films in development, including the independent film Bambo, about a New York boxing promoter and was previously attached to direct Uncanny Valley through her production company, Asteria Film Co.

Lyonne’s message of hope resonated with many, as she encouraged those struggling with addiction to remember “you’re not alone.”
