Bloomberg Launches “Bloomberg This Weekend” – Expanding Live Coverage
Bloomberg has expanded its live business and global news coverage to seven days a week with the launch of “Bloomberg This Weekend,” debuting on February 28, 2026.
New Weekend Programming
The three-hour broadcast, airing on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 7:00 a.m. To 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, will simulcast worldwide on Bloomberg’s audio, video, and digital platforms. The program combines live reporting from Bloomberg’s 3,000 journalists and analysts with discussions and interviews with lawmakers, business leaders, and cultural icons.
The Hosts
“Bloomberg This Weekend” is hosted by David Gura, Christina Ruffini, and Lisa Mateo.
- David Gura is an award-winning anchor and correspondent for Bloomberg TV and Radio, and co-host of Bloomberg’s “Big Take” podcast. He has covered the intersection of Wall Street and Washington throughout his career.
- Christina Ruffini is an Emmy-award winning foreign affairs journalist and anchor, joining Bloomberg after roles with NBC, MSNBC, and The Atlantic Live.
- Lisa Mateo will provide the latest headlines and news analysis, bringing clarity and efficiency to the broadcast. She previously worked with Bloomberg Surveillance Radio, CBS News Radio, and CBS Newspath.
Executive Producer
Carolyn Cremen has been named Executive Producer of “Bloomberg This Weekend.” She previously served in a similar capacity for CBS Evening News and has 15 years of experience at CNN.
