Terrorist Attack in Bucha Injures Two Police Officers, Suspect Detained

Bucha, Ukraine – A double terrorist attack in Bucha, Kyiv Oblast, on March 23, 2026, injured two law enforcement officers. A 21-year-old Ukrainian citizen has been detained as the primary suspect, according to Ukrainian authorities.

Details of the Attack

The first explosion occurred at approximately 5:34 a.m. Near a bench outside a residential building, causing damage to windows, the building’s facade, and gas lines. Fortunately, no fire erupted. The suspect, a local resident born in 2004, was detained “within a few hours” of the attacks by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the National Police.
