The operation targeted an illegal labor supply network that allegedly provided undocumented workers to local businesses. Investigators seized RM776,000 in cash during the raid.
According to the New Straits Times, two Bangladeshi nationals were taken into custody during the operation. Authorities suspect the pair were involved in the placement network.

The enforcement team descended on the popular Johor Bahru seafood establishment as part of a broader crackdown on unauthorized foreign employment in the region. Immigration officers checked the papers of individuals on-site, ultimately detaining 37 foreign workers who lacked valid travel documents or work permits.
