Prime Video is releasing the Mexican horror-comedy series Prefiero la Muerte on October 2, bringing an indie punk aesthetic and teenage coming-of-age themes to the streaming platform’s local originals lineup. Created and directed by Sebastián Sariñana, the eight-episode series follows Archibaldo “Archie” Pérez, a high school outcast in the small town of Mendoza who retains his intelligence after a zombie bite and teams up with friends and an investigator to avert an apocalypse.
