While walking through an unnamed supermarket in Spain, singer Davina Michelle heard her single “What A Woman” broadcast through the store speakers. The unexpected broadcast caught the Dutch artist completely off guard. In a video shared on Instagram, Michelle is visible listening to the music with visible astonishment, eventually tearing up with her mouth open in surprise.
“I just heard my own song in a random supermarket in Spain, and this really takes it to a whole new level,” Michelle wrote in the caption accompanying the video post.
Performance at the Dutch Grand Prix
The supermarket incident follows another high-profile performance for the singer. During the final edition of the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort, Michelle received the honor to perform the Dutch national anthem, “Het Wilhelmus,” ahead of the race.
“I just need to let this sink in… Performing the Dutch national anthem during the Dutch GP in Zandvoort. In front of a sea of orange, on one of the biggest stages in the world. A moment I will never forget,” she wrote on Instagram following the event.
Michelle performed the anthem in the presence of King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima, and Princess Alexia. Photographs posted to her Instagram account captured Queen Máxima personally greeting the singer.
