Catalonia and 8 more communities on notice for high temperatures this Wednesday

The high temperatures will activate the warnings this Wednesday in Catalonia and eight autonomous communities more, being extremes in Andalusia, Murcia and the Valencian Communityaccording to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).

The day will be marked by significantly high temperatures in the southeastern half of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, especially in the southeastern third of the peninsula.

Specifically, extreme risk warnings will be activated in the provinces of Malaga and Alicantewhere it is expected to reach 42ºC in the central hours of the day, while in Murcia the thermometers will mark 44ºC.

To a lesser extent, the heat will also affect Almería, Córdoba, Jaén, Seville, Valencia, Lleida, Albacete and Mallorcawith warnings of important risk due to temperatures close to 40ºCexcept in the Andalusian provinces and in the province of Valencia, where the 42ºC.

On this day they will also be in yellow alert by heat the provinces of Huesca, Teruel, Zaragoza, Madrid, Ibiza and Formentera, Real City, Cuenca, Guadalajara, Toledo, Barcelona, Girona, Tarragona, Badajoz, Caceres and Castellon.
