Igor Tudor Criticizes Serie A’s Concurrent Transfer Window adn Season Start

Juventus manager Igor Tudor has voiced his concerns regarding the Italian Serie A’s decision to begin the new season while the player transfer window remains open. Speaking to Sky Sport, Tudor expressed his frustration with the instability this creates for coaching staff.

“I try not to focus too much on the circulating information, otherwise it drives you mad,” Tudor stated. “Starting the season with the transfer market still active is, frankly, chaotic. It introduces a level of insecurity and removes the certainty needed for effective team management.”

Tudor acknowledged the current situation is beyond his control but hopes for a future change to the scheduling. He believes a more sensible approach would be to close the transfer window at least one week, ideally two weeks, before the commencement of the league season. This would allow coaches to finalize their squads and establish a clear team dynamic without the constant disruption of potential player arrivals and departures.

The Juventus manager’s comments reflect a wider sentiment among Serie A coaches who feel the open transfer window compromises their ability to prepare and strategize effectively at the start of the season.
