The General Information Commissioner has carried out an operation against jihadist terrorism in Melillawhich has resulted in an arrest.
According to sources from the National Police, the anti-terrorist operation took place this Monday morning and ended around 1:00 p.m.
The person detained in this anti-terrorist operation resides in Melilla, according to the same sources.
The investigation remains open, the Police have reported, which for the moment rules out offering more information and details about this intervention.
This arrest is in addition to the four carried out last week in Granada, Madrid and Barcelona for crimes of indoctrination with terrorist purposes. Two of those investigated had married and spoke of “shedding blood to recover Al Andalus and restore the Caliphate“Investigators have confirmed how these people, linked through closed social media groups, had suffered a radicalization process, as stated by the Police in a statement.
