CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – After a strong first weekend of the 2025 field hockey season,which saw Atlantic Coast Conference teams post a national best 12-5 record,the action will continue Thursday,September 4.
Teams from the ACC will play a total of 11 ranked opponents this weekend, including seven foes ranked in the NFHCA top 10. The non-conference slate also features five top-10 clashes, highlighted by two games that will be broadcast on ACC Network.
The top-10 clashes begin on Friday, September 5, at 3 p.m. ET, when No. 8 Boston College meets No. 4 Maryland in Durham, North Carolina. Later in the evening, No. 1 Northwestern will travel to No. 5 Duke at 6 p.m. ET, which will be televised on ACC Network.
On Sunday, September 7, Boston College will meet the top-ranked William & Mary.
