Gubernur Aceh Muzakir Manaf Inaugurates 25 Echelon II Officials

Banda Aceh – Governor of Aceh, Muzakir Manaf, also known as Mualem, inaugurated 25 officials holding Pimpinan Tinggi Pratama (Echelon II) positions within the Aceh Provincial Government on Friday, February 27, 2026. The inauguration ceremony took place at Anjong Mon Mata, Meuligoe Governor, Banda Aceh, following the Tarawih prayer.

Strengthening Governance and Responsiveness

The appointments are intended to fill vacant positions and contribute to organizational revitalization within the Aceh Provincial Government, aiming to enhance governmental performance. According to Governor Manaf, the appointments are not merely rotations but a strategic effort to strengthen the government’s responsiveness, professionalism, and public service orientation.

Selection Process

All appointed officials underwent an open selection process in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and the merit-based talent management system for civil servants.

Governor’s Message

Governor Mualem expressed his confidence in the newly appointed officials, stating, “I believe you will carry out your duties to the best of your ability according to your respective expertise.” He also emphasized the importance of aligning policies and work with the Aceh Government’s vision of an “Islamic, Advanced, Dignified, and Sustainable Aceh” for the 2025-2030 development period.

The inauguration was attended by the Aceh Regional Secretary, assistants to the Regional Secretary, expert staff of the governor, heads of Aceh Regional Work Units (SKPA), heads of Bureaus within the Aceh Regional Secretariat, the Chairwoman of the Aceh TP PKK, and the Chairwoman of the Aceh Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP).
