Wildcat Athletics: A season of Success

Our student-athletes continue to excel, achieving remarkable feats across various sports. Here’s a look at some recent accomplishments:

Men’s Tennis: Jay Friend‘s Breakthrough

Jay Friend has had a phenomenal run, winning his first ATP Challenger Tour title.He also secured the ITA All-American champion title, earning him a well-deserved spot in the NCAA Individual Championship this fall.

Women’s Golf: Championship Victory

The Women’s Golf team demonstrated their skill and determination by winning the NB3 Match Play Championship in New Mexico. They defeated No. 7 Texas A&M in the finals, marking the fourth tournament win under second-year head coach Giovana Maymon.

Volleyball: Dominating performances

Volleyball has been on a winning streak,recently defeating No.16 Baylor in a decisive three-set match at McKale Center. Jordan Wilson led the team with 19 kills, supported by Avery Scoggins’ 35 assists. The team continued their success on the road, securing wins against UCF and Houston this past weekend.

swimming and Diving: Strong Season Start

Swimming and Diving kicked off their season with remarkable wins against Grand Canyon and northern Arizona at Hillenbrand Aquatic Center.

Triathlon: Global Competition

Several of our Triathlon team members competed on the world stage, showcasing their talent and dedication.
