Minnesota Vikings legend Adrian Peterson’s mugshot has been released following his arrest for drunken driving on Sunday.
According to TMZ, the 2012 MVP, 40, was arrested in Sugar Land, Texas around 10 a.m. local time and later charged with two counts of drunken driving and one count of unlawful possession of a weapon.
Peterson is from Palestine, Texas, a small town three hours north of Sugar Land. though, it is indeed unclear at this time why the former NFL player was in the area.
Now, the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office has released Peterson’s mugshot.
It showed the former Viking wearing black tops looking down at the lens with a blank expression.
This is the legendary running back’s second arrest on drunken driving charges this year alone, after he was stopped after attending a Vikings draft party in April.

Peterson was pulled over at 3:20 a.m. after the first round of the draft on April 24,when state police allege Peterson was driving about 30 mph over the speed limit.
Peterson reportedly had a blood alcohol level of 0.14 on his breath.
Just two months later, in June, footage surfaced of Peterson getting into a fistfight during a poker game in Houston, Texas.
