Displaced families fleeing active combat zones in Kherson successfully relocated dozens of pets to safer areas in Mykolaiv, according to regional rescue documentation. A Kherson resident named Iryna evacuated alongside her daughter and 13 cats, living under constant shelling until local volunteer networks secured temporary shelter.

A Mykolaiv subscriber named Svitlana donated a residential property rent-free in the Korabelnyi district to house the relocated cats. Relief organizers subsequently launched public appeals for basic furniture, appliances, and washing machines to help the displaced family establish stable living conditions.
