New Macs Imminent: Apple Event in LA Hints at October Release

Apple enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting the release of the new Mac lineup, and it seems the wait may finally be over. In a recent social media post, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman revealed that the launch could be “imminent.”

### Hands-On Experience in Los Angeles

Gurman announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Apple will host a “hands-on experience” in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 30. This suggests that the new Macs will be available for testing at the event, implying that Apple might need to make an official announcement beforehand to prevent leaks from influencers and reporters.

### Online Announcement Expected

Gurman further hinted that Apple is not planning a traditional media event with a keynote speech or video presentation. This indicates that the announcement might be made online through a press release and a video, similar to the launch of the new iPad mini on October 15.

### Revamped Mac Mini and M4 Chips

The upcoming Mac lineup is rumored to include refreshed models of the MacBook Pro, iMac, and Mac mini.

Gurman previously reported that the new Mac mini will feature a “revamped” design, smaller than the current model, and equipped with two front-facing USB-C ports, making it almost as compact as an Apple TV.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro is also expected to receive an additional Thunderbolt port compared to its predecessor, while the MacBook Pro and iMac models are not anticipated to have significant design changes.

As previously reported, Apple is planning to revamp its entire Mac lineup with M4 chips to power artificial intelligence features and enhance overall performance.

### Stay Tuned

With the launch seemingly just around the corner, Apple enthusiasts can expect exciting updates about the new Macs in the coming days. Keep an eye on Apple’s official channels and tech news websites for the latest developments.
