Lloyd expressed confidence in Dell’Orso, stating he expected him to deliver when the team needed him most. “I kept telling you guys, I’m no panic about Dell’Orso,” Lloyd said. “I think Delly is gonna be ready to deliver when we need him most.”

The Wildcats were without starting forward Koa Peat (lower-leg strain) and reserve forward Dwayne Aristode (illness), although starting guard Brayden Burries played through an unspecified illness.
