Arkansas football‘s 2025 schedule is full of enticing matchups.
Non-conference showdowns against Memphis and Notre Dame complement the always-grueling SEC slate. Before those tests arrive, the Razorbacks will conduct their home opener against Alabama A&M and head south to Little Rock to face Arkansas State for the very first time despite both programs having more than a century of history.
But which three games are the most vital of Sam Pittman’s sixth season in charge? Here are our top three, led by a conference rivalry against some old friends.

There are no excuses for a flat performance under the Vaught Hemingway stadium lights.
The rebels came into Fayetteville and trounced Arkansas 63-31 last season. In the offseason, thay went into the transfer portal and landed three former Arkansas starters. It will be a reunion when Patrick Kutas, Jaylon Braxton and Luke Hasz face the Razorbacks.
Motivation should be at a season-high, and a road win against Ole Miss coudl spark a surprise season. It would likely push the Razorbacks into the top-25 and provide a confidence jolt before back-to-back non-conference challenges against Memphis and Notre Dame.
