A 37-year-old ROF man was arrested this past Wednesday afternoon in Vigo after threatening to kill his ex-partner with a screwdriver in the presence of his four and six-year-old children.
It was around 4:55 p.m. when the Local Police had knowledge of the facts through a call who requested assistance in the Travesía de Vigo due to a couple’s argument.
Once at the scene, the agents found an individual with a “passive attitude” on the landing of the stairs, despite the fact that from outside the building, the cries of a woman could be heard inside the apartment.
For this reason, the agents entered the house and spoke with the victim, who was in a “serious state of nervousness”according to the Local Police in a statement.
She stated that His ex-partner had already broken all his belongings the day before, as well as various electrical appliances, including television. Due to these events, a discussion took place between the two and in the middle of it, the man threatened to kill her with a screwdriver, while her 4 and 6-year-old children witnessed the scene. Therefore, she called the police.
