About the team:

The Global Event Marketing team’s mission is to support the firm in delivering industry leading, experience-led events that drive commercial and reputational results. This team is supported by regional resources – consisting of Event Marketing Business Partners and a broader Core Event Team that provides planning support and aims to deliver consistent experiences firmwide.

About the role:

We’re looking for a seasoned Event Manager to join the team – with proven experience in event management, end-to-end project management, and/or experiential marketing. In this role, you will partner closely with a broad range of business stakeholders in planning and executing a wide range of regional events.

What you’ll do:

* Manage/support and execute a variety of mid-high complexity events throughout the Americas
* Core responsibilities include (but not limited to):
* Partner with a broad range of stakeholders in developing event briefs anchored in key business/commercial priorities
* Create and manage key project management documents such as project timeline and event budget
* Oversight and/or support broader working group on content and creative development, experiential activations, project management, registration, event comms, venue management, budget management and more
* Develop and present proposals for stakeholders to showcase event recommendations such as venues, menu selections, activations etc.
* Execution of events, ensuring alignment with objectives and overall event strategy, while also remaining within budget
* Accurately record event data and analyze the success of events through post event evaluation
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal partners – Multimedia, global Creative, Content, Digital for Events, Facilities, etc.

Who you are:

* 5+ years of related experience in event management, brand marketing, and/or experiential marketing ideally within a financial services or professional services environment
* High energy, problem solver, self-starter, results orientated and proactive individual
* Detail oriented, with the ability to identify opportunities for process betterment
* Experience influencing across cross-functional levels of an organization
* Cozy in a multi-stakeholder environment across various time zones
* Excellent communicator – verbal and written – with refined executive presence
* Willing to travel for In-Person events, as needed (approximately 30%)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including OneDrive, in addition to event technology platforms – i.e. Cvent.

Compensation (New York, NY Only):

The salary range for this position in New York, NY is USD$100,000.00 – USD$130,000.00. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
