The travelers of the Crew-12 expedition have reached the International Space Station (ISS) about 40 miles up.
The journey was led by Swedish-American astronaut Jessica Meir.
The trip from the US space base Cape Canaveral in Florida, with the Space X Falcon 9 craft, took about 34 hours.
The crew replaces a crew that was forced to interrupt the space stay on the ISS due to medical reasons.
– When we look back on Earth from these windows, we are reminded that cooperation is not only possible, it is necessary. Up here there are no borders and hope is universal, Meir said when the craft docked with the space station.
In addition to Meir, the American astronaut Jack Hathaway, Sophie Adenot from France and Russian cosmonaut Andrey Fedjaev are included.
