Attack without victims against Spanish Army positions in Lebanon

The United Nations Interim Force for Lebanon (FINL) is investigating an attack against positions of its Spanish battalion in Lebanon that has left no victims to regret, its spokesperson has confirmed. Andrea Tenentito the official Lebanese news agency NNA.

The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. on Saturday in the eastern sector of the wheat plain of Abl el Qahmaccording to security sources to the newspaper The Orient by Day.

An observation tower at the post was damaged, but there are no reports of casualties among UN peacekeeping personnel, the spokesperson told the official Lebanese news agency, without giving further details of what happened at the moment.
