Baja Sube Sube, by Wisin, Jowell and Randy: lyrics and video

Wisin has joined forces with the duo Joel & Randy in his simple Lower Raise Raise, a collaboration whose video clip was released on Friday, July 21. The three Puerto Rican artists have given their fans a song to dance to in the summer of 2023, betting on the classic reggaeton formula with accelerated verses.

The singers stay true to their style on this catchy composition. The chorus of the song repeats: “Come, Go down, break the floor, go up, go up. Go down, break the floor, go up, go up. You shake that ‘booty’, I have the grade through the roof”. The interpreters talk about partying, drinking, dancing and “perreando until we can’t anymore”. The lyrics also include several risqué lines: “I land you in my bed, I break you like thunder. And don’t tell me to turn it down because now I’m going to eat that cookie like Chips Ahoy“.

The video of Lower Raise Raise It is in black and white and is the work of Jessy Terreroresponsible for many of the clips he has recorded Wisin throughout his career. The director has also worked with other Latin music stars, such as Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Maluma, Karol G, Romeo Santos, Daddy Yankee y Nicky Jam. The piece focuses on showing women dancing to the rhythm of the song. It also shows a great party by the sea, of which the interpreters of the theme are part.

The three artists presented the single live on stage at the Youth Awards 2023, who celebrated their 20th anniversary. The awards were delivered in Puerto Rico on the night of Thursday, July 20. Lower Raise Raise comes after other collaborations Wisinas Mi exxx con anuel aa o I remember you con Emilia y Lyano.
