Former professional cyclist Kevin Van Melsen will spearhead a youth development project for Intermarché-Wanty, taking on the role of sports director. He brings with him staff from his previous work with the Intermarché-Wanty youth team, demonstrating a commitment to continuity and mentorship.

Competitive 2026 Racing Schedule

The team has a busy schedule planned for 2026, beginning with a race in Brussels-Opwijk on February 26th. Key events on the calendar include the GP Samyn (March 3rd), GP Vermarc, GP Monseré, Circuit des Ardennes, Paris-Roubaix hopefuls, Liège-Bastogne-Liège hopefuls, the Tour de Bretagne, Flèche ardennaise, La Vesdrienne, and the Grand Prix Criquielion, as well as the Antwerp Port Epic.

Van Melsen aims to build a competitive team capable of performing well in these races, emphasizing the importance of earning invitations. He hopes to foster the growth of young riders and help them achieve success, mirroring his approach at Intermarché.
