Bengaluru Techie Suicide: Atul Subhash’s In-Laws On The Run After Threatening Journalists
The family of Nikita Singhania, the estranged wife of the deceased Bengaluru techie Atul Subhash, are reportedly on the run after threatening journalists covering the case. Atul allegedly took his own life on Monday, leaving behind a video message and a detailed suicide note alleging harassment by his in-laws.
After naming Atul’s in-laws, Nisha Singhania (his mother-in-law) and Anurag Singhania (his brother-in-law), in an FIR filed by Bengaluru police under sections 108 and 3(5) of the BNS, the family fled their Jaunpur residence. A video circulating on social media shows Nisha Singhania leaving her home late at night on a bike.
“We are not guilty of what happened. We will come out with all the proof soon. We have done nothing wrong. We regret Atul’s death,” the family of Nikita Singhania said, claiming innocence.
Atul Subhash, a 34-year-old techie, left behind a 90-minute video message and a 24-page suicide note detailing his alleged ordeal. He claimed that his wife and her family drove him to take this tragic step.
