Latin music has a new king and his name is Featherweight. The Mexican artist was this Thursday the most awarded at the Billboard Latin Awards to the Latin music of 2023, surpassing the Puerto Rican Bad Bunny, who had been dominating the market and award ceremonies for several years.
Featherweight received eight awardsamong which four stood out for “Ella Baila Sola”, her collaboration with Armed Link, and new artist of the year. The Bad Rabbit left the Watsco Center in the city of Miami (USA) with see Latin Billboards, most for his hit “Tití Me Preguntó”.

For his part, Featherweight often repeated a powerful “Go Mexico”, upon receiving each of their awards. His triumph in the Latin Billboards reflects the growing popularity of the new rhythms of Mexican music in the United States and the Spanish-speaking world.
