# Borderlands 4S First DLC Introduces New Character and Story Content
Borderlands 4 achieved significant sales upon release, but was initially hampered by technical issues on both PC and consoles, including the PS5. Despite these challenges, Gearbox, the developer, is moving forward with plans to deliver new content through its first DLC.
Details about the DLC were announced on the official 2K website.The DLC will introduce a new playable character, C4SH. Alongside C4SH, the first story pack will feature content for Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned.
