Bose has slashed prices across its lineup of audio hardware, dropping several popular headphones, speakers, and soundbars, WIRED reported. The discounts span multiple generations of the brand’s audio gear, highlighted by a lowest-ever price for the second-generation Bose QuietComfort Headphones.
Bose QuietComfort Headphones Second Generation Reach Lowest Price Ever
The Bose QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen) are currently available at their lowest price ever following their summer launch, according to WIRED. While the black colorway fluctuates in price, flexible buyers can find various colors selling between $199 and $219. The discount eliminates previous consumer friction regarding the model’s standard pricing, which historically occupied an intermediate space between midrange and premium gear.

Meanwhile, the first-generation Bose QuietComfort Headphones are discounted to $169 from their original $359 price. However, reviewers advise purchasing the newer second-generation model for a minor price difference depending on the color selection.
Bose QuietComfort Ultra Over-Ear and Earbud Discounts
The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) are discounted to $369 on Amazon, marking an $80 price cut—equivalent to 18 percent off the $449 recommended retail price. This sale matches the all-time low price seen during Prime Day. This flagship model features active noise cancellation, aptX Adaptive support, multipoint Bluetooth, lossless audio over USB-C, and a battery life of up to 40 hours with noise cancellation enabled.
In addition to the over-ear flagships, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) are also discounted. WIRED highlights these earbuds as the gold standard for noise-canceling earbuds, noting that the current sale is available at one of the better prices seen outside Prime Day and Black Friday.
Portable Speakers and Compact Soundbars on Sale
Beyond personal listening devices, Bose has reduced prices on home and portable audio equipment. The Bose Soundlink Plus Bluetooth speaker is included in the promotion, offering balanced sound quality across bass, mids, and treble at a reduced cost. For home theater setups, the Bose TV Speaker (2nd Gen) provides a compact soundbar option designed to upgrade television audio output.
