Brazilian Jinhua Chamber of Commerce Delegation Meets with Chinese Consulate in São Paulo

A delegation from the newly reorganized Brazilian Jinhua Chamber of Commerce recently visited the chinese Consulate General in São Paulo,where they received a warm welcome from Rong Qiang,Director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office,adn Li Xiaoming,Consul of Overseas Chinese affairs.

The reorganization of the Chamber of Commerce, encouraged by the Jinhua Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and the Federation of Overseas Chinese, reflects a strengthened focus on economic and trade initiatives. During the visit, President Zhang Xiaohong emphasized the association’s longstanding commitment to philanthropic endeavors, including substantial donations to disaster relief efforts both domestically and internationally, and consistent support for educational programs benefiting students in their hometown.The Chamber has also been actively involved in assisting both overseas Chinese communities and local populations during challenging times, such as the recent epidemic.

Furthermore, President Zhang Xiaohong highlighted the success of signature events like the “Mid-Autumn Festival Gathering” and the “Jinhua Cup Badminton Match,” which have become recognized platforms for fostering China-Brazil relations and promoting multicultural understanding.Looking forward, the Chamber intends to build upon its tradition of service to the overseas Chinese community by establishing a robust professional network and deepening collaborative business ties between China and Brazil. He also reflected on past achievements, including initiatives to strengthen the relationship between São Paulo and Jinhua, such as organizing a press tour for Brazilian journalists to Jinhua.

President Zhang Xiaohong affirmed the Chamber’s dedication to continued service, collaboration, and the advancement of bilateral trade and friendly relations.
