A new front will arrive this Thursday, December 7th, and will leave rains and cloudy skies in the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, according to the forecast of the Meteorology Statal Agency (AEMET).

Thus, they are expected practically widespread rainfall moving from northwest to southeast. However, these will be unlikely and will be weak and dispersed in the southern third of the peninsula and the Levant.

However, they are expected to be more abundant in the west of the Central system and Galicia, which will begin in the morning and where they could be persistent and locally strong, especially on the Atlantic façade of this community, where large quantities are expected to accumulate.

In Canary IslandsOn the contrary, it is expected a more stable day, with slightly cloudy skies or with intervals and a low probability of some weak and occasional precipitation in the western islands.

Regarding temperatures, they are expected to increase practically across the board, especially the minimum temperatures in the northwest, where notable increases are expected to occur. Meanwhile, the frosts will be restricted to the Pyrenees, Iberia and Cantabria.
