What is the Theater Tech Certification?

The Theater Tech Certification isn’t just another elective; it’s a focused, skills-based program designed to equip students with the technical expertise needed to succeed in various roles behind the scenes of theatrical productions. This includes areas like lighting,sound,stage management,and set construction. The program culminates in a nationally recognized certification,demonstrating a student’s competency to potential employers or colleges.

“We noticed a real need,” explains Low. “Students were graduating with a passion for theater, but frequently enough lacked the specific, demonstrable skills that employers were looking for. This certification provides that proof of proficiency.”
