Caden Curry Leads Ohio State Contingent at 2026 NFL Combine

INDIANAPOLIS – The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine is underway at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, with eleven players representing Ohio State University among the over 300 prospects vying for NFL attention. The combine, which began on February 26th and runs through March 1st, provides a crucial platform for draft-eligible players to showcase their skills to team representatives.

Buckeyes at the Combine

The Ohio State players participating in the combine include cornerbacks Davison Igbinosun and Lorenzo Styles Jr.. safety Caleb Downs; linebackers Arvell Reese and Sonny Styles; defensive linemen Caden Curry and Kayden McDonald; running back CJ Donaldson; wide receiver Carnell Tate, and tight ends Max Klare and Will Kacmarek.

Caden Curry’s Journey

Defensive lineman Caden Curry, a Greenwood, Indiana native, spoke to the media on Wednesday. Curry was a four-star recruit coming out of Center Grove High School in 2022, ranked as the No. 13 edge rusher nationally by 247Sports.

Initially a backup for the Buckeyes, Curry’s role expanded over his collegiate career. He played in eight games as a freshman in 2022, recording 14 tackles. His playing time increased in 2023, appearing in every game with 9 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. In 2024, Curry contributed to Ohio State’s national championship run, playing significant snaps as an edge rusher and registering 22 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles.

Curry became a starter in his senior year, leading the team with 16.5 tackles for loss and 11 sacks, along with 66 total tackles, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries. His performance earned him first-team All-Big Ten honors.

Ohio State has consistently had representation at all nine position groups at the combine for the last 14 years.
