Nuketown Returns to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 With Double XP Bonus

The popular Nuketown map has made its triumphant return to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, bringing with it double XP, double weapon XP, and double GobbleGums. However, the festivities have been extended! While the double XP bonanza was initially set to end today, a technical glitch on Friday night impacted some players’ XP gains.

Dewy Treyarch, the developer behind Black Ops 6, announced on Saturday that they would be extending the Double XP period by an extra day, giving players until Tuesday, November 5th at 1 p.m. ET to rack up those extra rewards.

Nuketown: An Iconic Map Gets Revived

Nuketown is a beloved classic, inspired by a scene in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. It’s set on a nuclear test site in Nevada and is known for its fast-paced action and iconic ending: a massive nuclear blast. Fans of the series have seen Nuketown pop up in past iterations of Call of Duty, including “Call of Duty: Online” and “Call of Duty: Mobile,” but this new version features reworked visuals for the Black Ops 6 experience.
